Angel Cake

Last week I received a call from Kristine at GlutenFreeda. She asked me to contribute to their Easter Issue which is going to be called ‘Cooking with the Pros’. Awesome! So I had to put my thinking cap on and come up with a new and delectably irresistible dessert!

Now what would say Easter, and get people thinking about all the color of spring flowers.  So I played around yesterday, and made a Pink & Lavender Angel Chiffon Cake. You can see  the recipe in the recipe section at GlutenFreeTrina.com .

 My husband Breck and I enjoyed this elegant dessert yesterday and it just melted in our mouths let me tell you. A delicious blend of sweet pink angel cake and the tart blueberry/raspberry coolis and cream. Breck loved it so much he put the picture up on his facebook page …bragging to the guys, ‘see what I had for dinner’.

Hope you enjoy making it too. It looks complicated but is really quite easy. Now with this recipe you will have your ‘not gluten free’ friends or family lining up for this one, so the recipe makes a full sized cake.
